Rain!

Today when we arrived on site it was actually raining! Not pouring, but real drops - enough to dampen the floors. It was not doing so in the lowlands. Fall is swooping in on us!
Luckily the rafters are almost all up and ready to receive the first layer of roofing, which will also be our ceiling.

Here is Adam framing up the arch in the arched window:

You can see the new rafters in this photo of Atea's room/Cindy's studio. Every other one is new. The old ones are mostly painted white and we will be painting the rafters/joists on the low ceilings (kitchen, hall, bathroom) and in here.
There will be all new rafters in the living and dining rooms, which may or may not get painted.

These 2 windows are the new windows for the main floor bathroom! This bathroom did not have ANY windows in it and the ceilings were firred down and soffited, making it a tiny cave of a bathroom. Much improved already.

The view out of one of the new bathroom windows. This will be over the tub.

Notice all the upper windows that are now all the same size and aligned. So neat and tidy.

Now, please, no more rain for at least a week!
