I've outlined some of the openings in the living room.
We'll have one large arched window facing east (back deck) and 2 windows plus a glass sliding door facing south (ocean view).
The wavy edged thing on the floor is a cutter for the corrugated siding.
Below you can see the hardy panel installed. It's the metal panel in the center of the photo. This provides sheer strength, as it's tied in down to the foundation. This was required by the engineer. Our lead carpenter tells us that he feels the engineer really overdid it on this project, so we'll have a very sturdy house at least.
