Moving Along...

The sheetrock should be going in beginning Friday, unless they work on Thanksgiving! I hear the workers are Mexican and may not celebrate this holiday.

This shows the shower pan in the upstairs bathroom which will be tiled and have a glass enclosure. It began with a layer of some black paint-on substance, and this is the second layer. Jody made me aware of the fact that there is water in the shower pan - they're in the process of doing a water leak test:



They started framing this section of the deck Wednesday. The shape on top of the fireplace is plastic covering the chimney pipe which has to extend up a few feet for code requirements.



The metal siding is complete except for the section near the back door and I hear they've started on the roof (metal).

We may actually be back in by the new year!
