More Habitation

The pond is particularly wonderful and relaxing. The fish are really happy! This is much more exciting than their previous wine barrel home. I figure it's their cushy retirement community since they're at least 10 years old by now.

We purchased a few potted pond plants - a waterlily and another with variegated leaves that looks like a mini waterlily. We placed them on the bottom where they are growing and reaching up toward the water's surface amazingly fast.

More of the main floor bathroom. Love it.

A nice place to sit in the morning sun...

It just looks so "right"! Love the overview shot from up on the hill. The line including "the inspired wall" is wonderful. Do you sense the expanded and improved porch as an extension of your space? Seems that way to me. Really invites a whole flow of its own.

I hope you do get to relax and enjoy it!

I love the deck and when the weather is warmer I'm sure it will be used even more. (no more splinters!)

Hey, I recognize that Green Man! The fish pond looks great, they should be so happy. Great pics. Glad you love the bathroom. In one of my favorite shows, the main character renovated her bathroom and loved it so much she basically lived in it for awhile.
The house just looks so beautiful! Have you had a party yet?

What was Danu's word? Splintertastic?

No party yet, just a small, sweet, gathering on Easter.
