Living room...the mantle is on and it's somewhat cleaned up in there. There will be more tile work on the hearth and on the floor in front of the fireplace:

So are the stairs all planned out? Earlier I think you said you weren't sure how they would be done. Is the house dust-free now for applying the finish on the cabinets?
I looked back at your before and after photos, the living room looks so different, and really great! The fireplace area looks cozier.
They seem to be painting in a dusty environ anyway. It's better now, tho. There is sanding between coats. Ay yi yi.
Yes the stairs are planned out now. I think all that's left to finish designing is the interior railing.
The bathrooms are really improved, too. I hope to get some good pictures of them soon.

I like the outside stairs. For some reason, I had pictured them coming straight up to the door, and that seemed awkward. This is so much better for a lot of reasons. Keeps the qi from all spilling out the door and down the stairs, makes visitors go past the window, so you get to see them approach before they're at the door, etc.
