A Hive of Activity

(Thanks for your loyal commenting, Les.)

The sun is out for a spell and the house is buzzing!
Painters, finish carpenters doing trim, wood floor layers, tile layers, stucco guys...
Dust everywhere and various smells abound. Luckily they can open the windows!

I can't spend much time in the house during all this -- way too dusty -- and I feel bad for the workers breathing in all that stuff. It goes with the territory, but still.

Again, the photos are not refined at all. I just point and shoot and get out of the way as fast as I can!

Some lovely fungus from all the rains:

Out friend David is doing the tile work. (I wonder if he can even stand up in the tub???) This is the upper bath surround in process:

How exciting, so many things coming together all at the same time. That lower, front room continues to impress me. I love the feel of it.

We have bright sun here today, too, but I'm sure you're a lot warmer! ;-)

Don't you love your new windows? Any idea when you'll get back in?
Dad tried to leave a comment, but we had a little trouble signing him into his Google account. Will try again.

ps That stump is amazing. So much life thanks to the death of the tree. It really shows the circle.
